Meet the Dentists
Dr. David Vella
Dr David Vella was educated at Stella Maris College, Gzira , Malta. He completed his secondary education in Edmonton, Alberta in Canada. He then completed his tertiary education at The University of Alberta in Canada and The University of Sheffield in the UK. He qualified as a dental surgeon in 1991.
Practices as a general dental surgeon with special interest in dental cosmetics, implantology and facial aesthetics.
Continuous education
Undertaken several courses in dental implantology, and more recently facial aesthetics with Dr Koen De Boulle, a world leader in facial aesthitics, which include Botox and facial fillers.
Dr. Darien Cini B.Ch.D.
Dr Cini has been working with us at BridgePoint since August 2009.
Studied at St. Aloysius College and qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Malta in 2009.
He is currently employed by the National Health Services at Mater Dei Hospital Dental Surgery Department.
Started a Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng) and has successfully passed part 1 of the examination. He is currently waiting to sit for the final part of the examination.
Dr Yvette Zahra B.Ch.D
Dr Zahra has been working with us at BridgePoint since 2003, apart from a two year break when she was working in continental Europe.
Graduated from University of Malta in 2003. Has since then worked both in a hospital setting, primary health centres and in private practice, with a special interest in restorative and paediatric dentistry.
